dario_92 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) Hi there, i recently compressed all my files on my 1TB HDD because i was running out of space. I now have a problem, windows does not load and it comes up with a message saying "RJTVE is compresed, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. Any help is much appreciated as i have all my college work and i need it for college. Thanks, Dario. SpikeSoprano Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Could be a problem, Never compress os files, you may have to load the hd into another pc to get your work off of it.

SpikeSoprano Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 So what can i do as i dont have another pc ? If you have your windows disk you might be able to do a repair, or if you have a linus boot disk ,but that also is risky because you could lose everything on the drive, the safest way is to get your files off the hd first and u'd need another system for that, use the pc your using to type these messages.
