GabrielT Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 http://bemidji.craigslist.org/sys/2546405989.html I see bad deals on used computers with P4's all the time but this one takes the cake, and the pie, muffins. I could get the better half of a LGA1155 (mobo, ram, and proc) system for that kind of money.

I would sell that desk, whatever printer, speakers and screen, along with mouse and keyboard to a mate for $100 tops then give the pc to my little sister to pull apart. For some reason she enjoys getting at the insides and has a p2 and p3 board on her shelf. Depending on the size of the psuwattage, I may resycle it for a hack project or just turf it in the bin. malmsteenisgod Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Some people are just completely out of touch with how far technology has advanced and don't realize how little their old computers are worth. He/she may have paid over $1000 for that computer several years ago and thinks it's still worth something.

Valid assumption... although these people could just be hoping to capitalize on the ignorance of your average consumer. I also noticed this: http://bemidji.craigslist.org/sys/2555358942.html --- on sale for 295$ despite the fact it's undergoing liquidation for 99$ a piece. rourkchris Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 What an interesting way to make a profit... I wonder if you could resell EVGA b stock items I see peploe reselling EVGA b stock all of the time at another site. No warranty after 90 days but you know it works and can get a decent deal. Have a look when they bought it they probably just found out it's is under liquidation. Thus they want to sell it before other people find out hp has given up on them. They may buy a new one at the cheaper price, or they possibly realized that all these tablets, that were released quickly, are bad.
