Sorry if format is hard to read. I will be using only a single 27" 1980 x 1080 monitor for gaming, however I have a 22" also hooked up to browse wowhead when im playing wow lol.

So what will this pc's performance be like? I am hoping to be able to play Witcher 2, BF3, and Skyrim at max settings (minus uber sampling in witcher 2 ofc)

Any suggestions on improving this build would be greatly appreciated :)

Don't bother with the CAS 7 memory. CAS 8 is around $80 at the same frequency and I believe CAS 9 is around $60 (also at 1600MHz). I've been told countless times that I won't notice the difference in timings, so it's basically a benchmarker's feature. With the savings I would get myself a better cooler... like a Antec Kuhler 920 or Corsair H80. Pretty sure the HAF 932 can handle the Corsair H100 too.

Otherwise looks good. I would check eBay for parts as well... lots of deals to be had, and you still get the manufacturer warranty with the new items.

Everything looks perfect to me, the only thing I would say is do you really need to spend so much on a blu ray drive? Also you could possibly spend a bit more on the cpu cooler for such a high end build, but that's just opinion.

True, I have a big screen and a PS3 if I want to watch a blue ray. Is there a recommended air cooler? I have never done a liquid cooling system and probably wont need it ( gonna OC to 4.2 - 4.5 ghz). Also is there a better SSD for the money or is what I have perfect?

I always suggest to people: If they're savvy with troubleshooting driver issues, AMD or Nvidia doesn't matter except when comparing which gets better FPS in the games you actually play or plan to play. If driver issues are a big deciding factor and the budget allows, I suggest Nvidia. My personal experience (which has been confirmed with extensive research across the interwebz) has been that catalyst drivers suffer from bugs and issues FAR more often than Nvidia's. I've also had bad results with quality control using Powercolor, one of the most common/best priced AMD partners.

As far as P67 vs. Z68, if you're not going to use the features of Z68, don't PAY for it. I hunted down a P67A-UD5 motherboard because I didn't want to spend $230 for a Z68 equivalent (I spent $170 total).

P67 is full-featured these days... no point in Z68 if you're not going to use the graphics switching or HDD/SSD caching features.

Should I get a P67 or Z68 mobo? I dont see me using the SRT. Also Im thinking with the savings that I should get a 580 instead of 6970.

Yeah save some money and get a p67, going from a 6970 to a 580 would be a great upgrade but a sli setup of gtx560tis would cost about the same and be faster.

The noctua nh-u12p se2 and d14 are both great air coolers, the corsair h50/70s are also great. A lot of people have hit 5ghz with the 2600k on good enough cooling

Don't know anything about ssds so can't give you advice there, sorry.

Love your name btw

Never mind I looked it up. It appears that it's likely a SF-2281 issue and not specific to the OCZ drives. They say it's only a small percentage of the drives as well... attributing it to some variation in the specs. They have a fix for it that you should only apply if you're affected by the BSOD problem: http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?90191-FW-2.09-is-live-Instructions-on-how-to-update-your-Vertex3-Agility3-Solid3-SSD-s...Update-ONLY-flash-this-FW-if-you-have-issues-with-other-FW.
