Newbie, all advice wanted

heya im a newbie from N.Ireland and just wanted to say hello, my computer specs are:

 

Core i3 running at 3.68 GHz

4GB RAM

23GB SSD for OS

250GB HDD for Data

nVidia GTX 480 1.5GB eVGA

620W PSU

 

as said all help on overclocking or about improvements please post

You'll have to be a bit more specific about your hardware before any of the members can offer you any advice. ;)

Core i3 540 now running 4.2GHz stock cooler & Passed stress tests 9Hours max temp is 72 celcius

 

Kingston KVR1333D3N9/2G 2GB X 2 RAM

Removed SSD ATM

well thats the one at the min, it being changed when get graphics changed old card is knackered with dust, sounds like hoover, lol, was going to get a 5870 1GB from asus factory overclocked, what psu would you suggest? any advice welcome,

480 -> 5870 would be a downgrade (as much as I love the 5870). Just blow out the 480 and keep using it, there isn't much worth upgrading from that.

 

Where are ya ordering from (if online) I'll pick ya a nice PSU!

What's your budget?

 

If money's tight then the Corsair CX500W or XFX PRO550W would do the job nicely.
