masb Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Well for the CPU I can recommend the X6 or i5 2500K. Ether will do the job nicely but AMD will be slightly cheaper. GPU (really get what ever you need for your gaming and photoshop needs) Ram 4-8GB PSU (should be at least 650 watts) As for music a decent sound card will be great for you Case motherboard (first decide what CPU you want) cheers for that Black6464, I was thinking of the corsair 850 PSU and the 1155 CPU i5 2500k which you suggest along with the 4-8GB memory to go with the Asus p8p67 motherboard ( although dissapointed that there is no on-board Graphics port) a couple of forum members mentioned the Z68 motherboard which has the on-board port, so I may wait for that coming out. Yes you're right, if you want a decent onboard graphics solution, wait for the Z68 chipset since you could go with the H67 one's now but then you're boned for overclocking your CPU.
