I have wondering if theCoolermaster SickleFLow are any good ? I have seen reviews where people say that they are loud and make "whineing" noises and some say they are silent ? Does anyone own one or more of these or has owned one and is able to help me out ?

Thanks, Dario

I'm wary of anything that claims to be quiet, particularly LED models.

If you are looking for something particularly quiet, it would probably be better to go with something proven.

Have 5 of these CM Sickleflow fans being used in a NZXT case and on a Zalman tower style Heatsink for my brother... They are in fact quiet.

They are also pretty effective too! I have some R4's in another computer which are 90CFM as opposed to the 69cfm that the sickleflow offer, and the R4's are much louder. Two of the green sickflows are being used as on Zalman CNPS10x Flex cooler to keep a Xeon X3440(slightly lower clocked i7-860, but cheaper!) that is overclocked to 3.8Ghz at a nice and comfy 63c on the hottest core. The rest are being used as case fans.

In my opinion, the sickleflows are awesome, get yourself some!
