You could probably actually sell the 5870s at a profit and pick up a 5970 I found for $425

well, the new 6xxx series' only apealing new upgrade to me is the +50 mhz on the core clock, but still, my 5870s are both OC'd to 975Mhz so that serves no purpose, and tbo, the new 6xxx power consumption thing is no big deal, i have a 1220 watt PSU!lol.....my 2 5870s do exactly what i need them too, theyre still elite in my book!

if i ever upgrade it would be to the 5970, but ive only had my 5870s for a few months so it'd be a waste in my eyes,lol.....i was even considering crossfiring 2 5970s, and then i would tear up any game in the galaxy!lol.....but i still need time to break in my 5870s. But more down the road, like maybe, i mean MAYBE, by spring next year, i might check out the new 6970s and 6990s....just to be up to date, but then again i have to see performance and benching to see if the 6970 is that much better than the 5870 and the 6990 is that much better than the 5970.....til then im happy with my cards :-)

I didn't get the combo lol.

Applying is one thing making it is another

Doesn't that give me atleast the "good try" discount of $100 shipped  (Btw did I make it or is Dale still looking over the different applications??)

Plus I'm like an undercover staff member here from how much time I spend here
