yea she didnt wana try AMD at first cause her old setup slow and i kept telling her ITS JUST OLD AND NOT AS FAST!!!!!!!! she had a 512mb pci video card a AMD athlon 64 x2 3000+ and 2gb ram new build will rape it so badly and will rape intel also

Just a quick thing on the 4670:

 

Go for the Biostar that's on Newegg. It only has half the memory of the XFX, however, it uses faster DDR3 that will be more useful on the 4670 than twice the memory.

You will not need 1gb of video memory for the resolution she is playing at. Go for faster memory

Unless she is playing at 1920X1080+ she doesn't really need 1GB of memory, and the lower end cards do not take advantage of the extra memory manufacturers slap on them.

If you look at reviews you can see for yourself, most high end cards do not see much of a performance increase with higher amounts of VRAM than what the chipmaker puts on its reference designs.
