ben, i have an ASRock socket 478 board. New, never been used other than to test when I first received. Don't know the exact model number yet, but I can check when I get back to the shop.

Only problem is that i'm sure it's an MATX form factor. PM me if you're interested and I'll get the model info for your.

First off i completely forgot about this, second I have a board here with some sort of 478 action going on, came from an IBM, has an engineering sample CPU in it (don't ask me) but it has some funky butt IBM retention clip for the HSF so it would need the standard 478 bracket from another board. Did i mention I forgot about you

A model number and price would be great. Does it support any OCing? And it's AGP, right?

should be a decent board....Via Chipsets were better than the others at that time....

only issue is the same as other chipsets....if the AGP/PCI lock would actually hold...

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll hold out for something with four RAM slots... Also, I guess this came with the forum update... this warn level crap? I have some silly junk from like two years ago in there, could someone who's staff remove that?

To the offer of the IBM board, if it has 4 DDR slots and an AGP slot, I may be interested.

Well... I think I'll narrow it down again, decided I don't want to mess with anything LESS than what I'm looking for. Socket 478 & will take a 3.0 HT, Four DDR slots & will accept 2 GB total, AGP slot.

Full ATX or micro - doesn't really matter. Full would be nice, because it'll probably go in a full size tower, and the performance boards are usually full size. Onboard audio or video isn't required, neither is onboard ethernet, but I'd think the kind of board I'm looking for would have audio and ethernet.

That looks great! For the right price I'll take it. Don't need your chip or video card, you could probably stick them on ebay for a few bux or something, or just include them if it doesn't matter. If it lowers the price though, I'll take just the board :)

I'm interested.

If the first offer doesn't come through, then I may be interested. Waiting on a reply from him.

Spectrascope, that board has regular DDR right? I googled and found no specific info on the board.
