Hi guys, im trying to overclock my cpu but cant seem to do it in the bios?

 

Idle temps are 25 & 26.

You can't overclock on laptop in the BIOS unless you have an extreme edition CPU. There are no soft mods for that laptop, and hard mods won't work for that particular laptop.

Overclocking most laptops is never a good idea in my opinion. They run pretty hot to start with and overclocking the CPU is just asking for trouble.

I agree. I have the gateway p7807u, great laptop btw but it can get a bit warm. I have looked into upgrading the processor but its a bit expensive for me.

That may be something to look at.

Some people have gotten better performance by upgrading there memory.

I have considered that for my LT also, going with a name like Corsair,Gskill ect.
