When overclocking an I7-920 is Multi Threading to be enabled or disabled?

Do you mean Hyperthreading? It doesn't matter. Overclock with hyperthreading off, first. When you reach a stable overclock, turn it on and see if your system is still stable. I have mine overclocked with hyperthreading on.

Right now it is Enabled and doesn't want to go above 3.7. On my Gigabyte mobo it's seems to be called multi threading.

My 920 would do [email protected] completely stable

 

Also what is ur DRAM voltage and QPI voltage?

I had the Vcore above 1.3 ,DRAM is at 1.64 ,QPI is 1.26.

Raise your DRAM to 1.66 and QPI to 1.3125

I tried that but it still won't go above 3.74.

That correct, it took me 3 cpu's to get there and two different motherboards.

I kinda feel my MB was the problem after all.

Currently I'm at 4.05gig vcore1.26 and stable. I would not disable HT unless the temps are just to high.

That would be like turning off 4 processors.

What are your setting for the speed you have now ? 21x ? or 20x? for the multiplier .
