minigeek Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 the scythe mugen is the bost of those chioces. You can always get CCTF or a Cogage True Spirit, as both of which perform well.
road-runner Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I have a couple of the Xigmatek coolers on i7s that crunch 24/7 100% full load, there older C0 stepping with around 1.4 vcore or 1.425 and it keeps it in check as long as I stay at around 3.8Ghz or less. Cant speak for the others never used them...
hosnappp Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Cooler Master 212 Hyper Plus Hands down, it's remarkable for how cheap it is. Less than 30 bucks on Amazon and beats the Arctic Cooler 7 Pro. Not to mention it's really small.

I suggest you check out some reviews for those 2 coolers and then decide which you want to get with more information from those reviews. ilya_hhjj Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 What cooler to get would depend on what cpu/socket(s) you plan on using it on and whether or not you plan on overclocking. My personal budget cooler recommendations at NCIX: No overclocking, non 1366/AM3 socket- OCZ Vendetta (can be PMed at NCIX for $18-$10MIR) OCZ Gladiator (PM to $26-$5MIR) Small overclocks, any socket- CM Hyper 212 (PM to $22) Decent overclocks, any socket- Scythe Mugen 2 (PM to $35) Pretty good overclocks, any socket- Scythe Yasya (PM to $44)
