CowKing Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 OCCT is very poor at reading voltages from the BIOS and if it somehow knows what they actually are from a magical sensor I would just go with what the BIOS says
Stuart Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 thanks everyone but cant see any in bios, so what other software could i see voltages? And would it be bad if i was correct, im concerned because all the other voltages are as they should be
paulktreg Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Your +5V0 rail is out of specification as well! It should be 4.75V~5.25V (+/- 5%). Take a look in the bios as suggested. The best way is with a digital multimeter, a half decent one can be had for very little money these days, or borrow one? Zertz Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 If it really was at 1.78V, your computer would most likely not work at all

Stuart Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 is this the right idea? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-PC-20-24-Pin-P...=item439d2b9d15
dling Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 (edited) You should be able to see all your voltages in bios. Restart the comp. hold down the delete button once in the bios look for something like pc health or fan control, just look around it should be there. Zertz Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 (edited) is this the right idea? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-PC-20-24-Pin-P...=item439d2b9d15 Yes, that will do, but like I said, if your rails were really that screwed up, your computer probably wouldn't work at all Here's what OCCT reports for my main computer... lol No VCore at all, 3.3V is half-decent and 5V & 12V are totally screwed up Edited February 17, 2010 by Zertz
