road-runner Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) This was not a planned bench, I was benching Intel and had cold bug and LN2 left over so I grabbed the AMD and bolted the pot on. The motherboard seemed flakey, I had a heck of time getting it to boot, corrupted 1 hard drive and any setting other than auto on the northbridge did not want to boot, and any higher vcore would not boot. I was also using my drives that were setup for my Intel rig as I said this wasnt planned at all... 6279 cpuz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=959808 I had it to 6330 but it froze on me and I ran out of LN2 Edited January 26, 2010 by road-runner

road-runner Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Nice nice Dave, do you think it'll hit higher MHz or you recon that was about the most that's possible? It should, I need a better/new board, of course this was a used board when I got it with stains on the back from being wet from benching and who knows what else...
