I press ours, the DLink named wireless. 3. starts doing something 4. it askes for the network password 5. i give it the network password 6. it starts doing something 7. it repeates 4-6 until i shut down the computer. Union Of V Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I'd love to help you... but I can't. I've had this exact problem with two separate computers running openSUSE today, and they all fixed themselves.
CheeseMan42 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I found some instructions for getting this to work on 8.10, but it will hopefully work with 9.04. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1016108 I have also read that some users are reporting this works "out of the box" and didn't have to do anything themselves. Maybe try restarting your computer.

CheeseMan42 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I'll try =) thanks =) Edit: Nope, it errors something =( would installing other linux than ubuntu help? Ubuntu is honestly one of the easier Linux distros to work with. It likely won't be able to find the build-essential pack if you cannot connect to the internet. Would it be possible to plug into an ethernet jack to install the packages? If not, try http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=251602
