Hello all.

I dont claim to even be an over clocker but this is what i have found out and looking back something like this would have been a god send..

These are the setting that i use to get my i7 860 to 4.2Ghz and be stable.

200 x 21 Turbo off.

Volt settings ( This works for me on a Giga P55 UD5 mobo )

1.425 V Core

1.4 V QPI/VTT

1.14 V PCH

1.9 V PLL

No point me saying anything about memory as mine is 2000Mhz you will have to adjust as to your own speeds.

Idle Temps

Temps 31 32 33 31 Thats first boot in the morn

Temps 38 38 36 38 Thats after 6 hours running Normal use gaming,Web normal crap

Full load 62 63 64 63 First boot in the morn

Full load 68 70 69 71 After 6 hours normal use and then an hour on Prime 95

This is water cooled (home made ) with 25liters of water (no Rad)

Like i said i dont claim to be any good at this but thought i would post some base setting that ppl can work with.

Good luck and remember this is my setup and they are all different

Looks good, but your voltages are high! PCH and PLL should be fine at stock settings.

I have tried them at stock must be a bad CPU its just not stable, I will try today to drop them and see how low they will go.

Edit: Just cut a little from the PCH 1.1400 V and the PLL 1.900 V .Any more and prime errors within mins. Will have to let it run for a few hours to test.
