MJCRO Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I'm looking to buy a virtual keyboard, looking to spend between $75-$150. Anyone have any suggestions or have experience with using one. I'm really interested in buying one, but I'm open to opinions. Thx in advance!
xly15 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 What type of virtual keyboard are you looking for? The only one I found was the one that is laser projected on to a flat surface. Why do you want a virtual keyboard?
Zertz Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 (edited) The only one I found was the one that is laser projected on to a flat surface. I've tried using one of those multiple times over the last semester and it just sucks... It's neat, but the novelty quickly wears off once you actually try using it. Found it Edited November 19, 2009 by Zertz
MJCRO Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Yeah because I travel a lot and want to use it through my E71x with Bluetooth, but I was just wondering anyone has any experience with having one or have one now. :thumbs-up:

It seems like its really not worth the money because of high price tag of $180 , and I've only found one company that makes it. Zertz Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 It's not practical either, because you need a flat surface anyway and the lack of tactile feedback is another downside. Definitely not worth the cost! Have you looked into something like this?

MasterRex862 Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I had a very similar model folding keyboard for an old Palm Pilot - they're compact and work quite well. I think it's a much better fit than a laser projection keyboard!
suedenim Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 How about a flexible keyboard? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006B70...g=UTF8&s=pc
