d0w0rk24 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 OK I recently set up my new motherboard and tried to over clock with it and the initial boot after i over clock is fine. but when I shut down then reboot it wont boot. then i clear cmos and it works fine. Does anyone have an answer for this?
Blackninja543 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Sounds like it wont pass POST boot, which means your OC is probably not stable or you may not have enough power. Whats the specs of your system.

d0w0rk24 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 (edited) oh i fail so hard. i knew i was forgetting some thing its a mushkin 550w power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16817812002 Edited July 12, 2009 by d0w0rk24
Blackninja543 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I cant be entirely sure about this but the PSU may not be enough. And even if it just reaches the amount you need at the clock you want, power stability under a load will have ups in downs for maximum power so it peak may be higher then what your PSU can offer, although that assessment is only one possibility out of many. Do you know what your voltages where at at the time of your most stable clock?
