IVIYTH0S Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Right.... except it outperforms the 4890. You can easily hit 700 core on that Asus 260, most reviews I see have it at 800 or so and it outperforms 275s. Our very own OCC review What it does at 800 core The thread was "best video card for $200"... I'd like to see one better. the 4890 can over clock too.... 7 VII 7 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Yeah, I am going with AMD for my next build... so I think ATI and AMD complement each other.
TheHippi Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Yeah, I am going with AMD for my next build... so I think ATI and AMD complement each other. they don't complement each other. it doesn't matter if you go ati or nvidia. it's the specific card that matters. There is a nice 275 on newegg right now for 200 if you want to check that out.

There is a nice 275 on newegg right now for 200 if you want to check that out. it doesn't really matter unless you are talking about getting two cards and your board only supports crossfire or SLI only. that is a good deal on the PNY 275 on newegg either a 4890 or that would be a great choice, they rest of the 275's are still too expensive considering that they are dead even with the 4890s.
