The Bleach manga has been great (up to chapter 359), though the anime has had a lot of filler over time...

Just remembered another one of my favorites, Kino's Journey, anyone else seen this one?

finished gurren lagen, and can definitely recommend it, even if you aren't big on mech stuff (which i'm not). you have to take your serious hat off to really enjoy it, but that could be said for most anime.

 

just started watching samurai champloo, since everyone seems to recommend it, and i'm a big bebop fan. i didn't go for it right away because i knew it could never top bebop, and so far it definitely hasn't. however it's still excellent and i feel kind of dumb for avoiding it for so long!
