Cpu Temps

So iv have built my first PC, with out any problems. YAY. Now i want to keep a eye on the cpu temp but don't know what to use and what is acurate. I have Easy Tune 6 that came with the motherboard how accurate is that, or what would you recommend i use thanks guys

is there a hardware monitor in your bios..??

or did gigabyte provide a monitor with the installation software....??.....ahh....i see .....easy tune.....

 

they're both accurate...

Most people here would recommend using RealTemp.

I prefer to use Real temp with my 45nm processor (HWMonitor is another favorite of mine for reading temperatures, for the cpu core temperatures I stick with realtemp buts its pretty good for HDD, Video card ect)

just out of curosity......what's the significance of knowing the distance to tj max.......??

Yeh there is a temp monitor in the bios.

 

Ill give real temp a go.
