Onion Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Got a nice lithium ion dry battery for the motorcycle, the current one is 5 years old and got so weak that if I have the high beams on it messed with the ignition and made it idle rough. Onion Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Sold the CBR, picked up this beast today. CBR topped out at 45 torque, this monster makes 50 at 2k rpm (idle is a hair under 1800) and makes the same horsepower as the CBR and weighs less. Its also a lot more comfortable, and is much less flashy so much less police attention. Got the 5 year service plan on it, couldn't say no to it at $590. Also got some gas, put 150 miles on it today. Lastly, gallon of conventional oil and a filter for the 150 mile oil change. I'll pick up another gallon and filter tomorrow for the 600 mile service.
