lol... ok, well I *have* used watercooling for years...

I use deionised water and Valvoline Zerex Super Coolant additive

I would use distilled water if I had the option locally, but deionised water is much MUCH easier for me to get

Stay away from dye btw cause they terribly stain the tubing. Just get some distilled water from your grocery store and add some type of biocide and your pretty much good to go IMO

what NRG said.

i use the same composition. you only need about 10% of that zerex in there. distilled water at my local grocery store is like $0.99 a gallon. do it right and youll only have to top it off due to normal evaporation. i think i added 4 ounces of water in 2 years on a setup close to what you are going to use. and yeah dye is kinda silly IMHO. my tubes have a slight tint of light pink only from the coolant additive.

And another thing is when you add heavy certain amounts of dye or other types of coolant it has a tendency to cause alot of foam rather than bubbles in the loop. Stay away from brands like Fluid XP, ugghh I had to end up flushing my setup with distilled water and vinegar to clean up the mess inside that crap left, then had to purchase new tubing cause it was stained.

Just get your self some distilled water and add some of this:

Petra'sTech PT_Nuke Concentrated Biocide (10mL)

so wouldn,t non of you recommend PrimoChill ICE or Feser One

feser one is good, dont know about the primochill, i have read about a lot of people like the feser one. i use the swiftech additive myself. Dont listen to people that say dont use dyes. Just know if you do use one you should stick with that color after that, its not the tubeing getting stained, because when you do maintance your going to want to change the tubing any ways. But it will stain your res but who cares if your going to put the same color right back in. Dont use dyes because the color fades in a couple of weeks. The feser one is a good choice. The hydrix that swiftech makes would be a better chioce, if you ever had to rma a part they couldnt say it was the coolant additive that caused the problem, because they make the coolant additive.
