bredindo Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 I am looking to overclock my laptop. My plan is to pump a liquid cooled to below freezing over the processor (not directly but in some sort of casing) to cool it. I also plan on fitting its components into a larger case. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to prevent condenstaion, any creative things to do with the speakers, mousepad, screen, and keyboard, and any other ideas for this project. ir_cow Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 this is would be funny to see but for normal use laptops shouldnt be overclocked if you want to keep it working.
Puck Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Laptop motherboard BIOS's do not allow overclocking, and software overclocking via PLL manipulation leaves a LOT of mhz on the table. Your efferts would be much better aimed at desktop enthusiast components!!
