which is the best program to measure the pc temp i get different temps on different software

I'd say the best is to use more than one to verify your temps, and then when you know that such or such program lists them well, just use that one.

 

Personnally, I use SpeedFan, but it needed a bit of adjustment on temps for my C2D to match CoreTemp.

I needed to calibrate it; To add a permanent +20C to core temperatures.

 

But this was with speedfan4.33. I tried to find where now that I have 4.34 and I don't see anywhere to do that...

 

Try Coretemp.

 

and BTW, where did you find your Vista sidebar gadget on CPU activity ??

Vista Side bar is part of Everest, in the prefs under the OSD settings

I would have to say core temp or real temp. Then again I have a friend who make me a custom temp program.

When testing I like HWMonitor because it shows so much info. It also keeps track of the top temp hit. Great for graphics because the temps drop so fast after a test that by the time you view the monitor it is cool already. http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php

 

If you want something running constantly then I'd try something else.
