Oc to 2.7 with 1.4 volts have reapplied as5 so many times i can do it in ten minutes now lol. 1 120mm intake two 80mm exhuast mb asus8n32 chipset temps 42 on both all the time. CPDMF Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I would begin to suspect either a concave IHS or an IHS that is not making decent contact with the core. Might think about lapping or removing the IHS completely. I've never had one run that hot even at 1.55v on an XP-90. What temp program are you using? Try a different one, like core temp or everest just to be sure you get matching hits..

What can i use to tame this beast freezone or elimantor?????? 59 at load is not that terrible but 7C or so cooler would be nice. I assume your ambient is 70F or so. Big Typhoon or Ultra 120 Extreme. Is the 59 a core or bios reading? What do you mean both chipset temps? 9500 is a nice cooler but doesn't compare to the two I mentioned. Do temps drop when the cover is off ... would mean starved for air.
