MiniButch Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 first guess, you aren't lowering your HTT multiplier. Drop your HTT multi down to x3 to give you some headroom to overclock. Where about is the option to change this? I lowered my DRAm to 133, put FSB to 240 but it wouldnt post...
gordesky1 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 i had the same problem couldint get over 2.3ghzs and cant even get over 2.4ghzs with out it be stable or booting after i set the settings in the bios. so i updated the bios from that bios cd that has all bios for dfi motherboards on this board somewere. and now i got it at 2.8ghzs:) stable i problee could get 2.9ghzs or 3ghzs but ram is holding me back big time. but what it seems your bios is screwed up like mine was or something. first i thought haveing no pci or pciepress lock could be doing it but i seen alot of others got theres over and have no problems overclocking. which maybee i think my lock wasint working with the shipped bios it came with. red930 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Where about is the option to change this? I lowered my DRAm to 133, put FSB to 240 but it wouldnt post... It should be the option 'LDT/FSB Ratio'..
MiniButch Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Ok Ive got the tmods dl'ed. When I extract it I get 1 239 MB WinRar archive. This can be extracted to get loads of different files and a folder named TMOD. Do i just burn those to a CD?
MiniButch Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Also does it matter if I use Tmds 7.5 or v9.0?
MiniButch Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Ok I want to flash the BIOS. So I have TMODS 7.5 already burnt on a disc. When I boot it up it selects CD ROM as primary boot (fine) and then does so. however it ends up giving me this screen: Any Ideas?
