To be honest Yellowbeard, I have to agree with you. I have never, and I mean never had a bad Corsair product. The only reason I'm not running any of it now is I couldn't get the dimms I wanted anywhere.

 

But if you have a matched kit of XMS 4400 2x1GB's that need testing on a DFI Venus...you know how to contact me, hehe.

Most of my 32 bit AMD XP systems have Corsair for the low timeings but all of my Optrons systems use G.Skill.

 

When I do my next build after these Optron systems die of old age I will have to study up and shop around for the "best" ram to get at that point.

As long as they are not called VISTA all options are open...lol!

This G-Skill kit has been stellar to me. Its my 1st set of performance memory. Before i actually took building pc's up as a hobby, i was content with the Kingston value ram cause i didnt have overclocking in mind. I learnt how to overclock with that value memory but it quickly got retired when i got a "real man's kit"
