lunari Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Well, my Opty ended up being a CCBBE, and fiddling not working on a stable OC, I'm curious how high I can get it to boot on stock volts. Just having some fun before trying to find something stable. 2.7Ghz so far. Time to see if I can push it a bit more
Gipse Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Show us some oc-results in the OCDB-style:) Gipse
lunari Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Okay, I'll post it OCDB style once I'm sure it's stable. Highest boot into windows so far is [email protected], going to bump the voltage a tad and try for higher
lunari Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 the limit at 1.75v seems to be 2.8Ghz or so core 1.4v chipset 1.6v 331x9, 2.9Ghz Going to see if it will hit 3Ghz Edit: The limit seems to be 331x9, at the above mentioned voltages, I'll post back once I find my stable settings
n_w95482 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 1.75v is way too high for that chip, you should back down ASAP. 1.55-1.6 is generally regarded as the highest practical voltage you should use on that CPU.
Thraxz Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 It's probably a memory thing now... not CPU voltage. They get testy about 3Gs.
ebdoradz Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 334*9 on 1.39V in bios with my ccbbe everyday oc is 312*9 on 1.28V
27floyd Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 1.75.....Your gonna kill that nice chip of yours.. PLEASE dont run it there...
lunari Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Oops, I meant 1.45v, damn typos
xtw1ster Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I just got this CCBBE 0617 FPMW, the most i can do is 306x9 auto on voltage in bios. The pic was with 1.4 volts, but I'm running it on auto now. I think i need to search for some more bios settings. I'm using G.Skill Technician's settings from over at xtremesystems.org .(since i have G.skill PC4000). http://www.xanadu2.net/satan666/3dmark.png I wish i could do more, but it's better than my last opty 165. Thraxz Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 You can.... give it some voltage and you'll likely see 3.1Ghz
jbody Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Oops, I meant 1.45v, damn typos Jesus, I was wondering if you thought it was a Clawhammer with 1.75v :eek2: I've run 2.9ghz 9 hour stable 1.45v on another board with a 170 ccbbe 0615 (didn't remember the rest, saw the ccbbe and knew it was on). 3ghz is definately a reality on these chips.
