Nightshadow Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Any fan will work. The higher the airflow the better.

Polizei Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Any fan will work. The higher the airflow the better. Not always true... some rads are designed to work with low CFM fans. WIll they work with high flow? Sure, wont see a huge difference in performance though. Yate Loons are popular... 28dB and 47CFm.... theyre like $3 everywhere. Timber Jockey Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Any fan will work.. What rad is it? The rad is a MCR120 Quiet Power ---> Link Here So what fan would be the best for it ????

Evil_inc Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Something with high air pressure. High cfm is great but you are blowing against resistance.
greatscott68 Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Yate Loons are a great combination of quiet/static pressure/cfm - a great choice for any rad. Sanyo Denkis are great for heatercores - and they don't get whiny when you undervolt them - definitely a good thing.
