burntcircuit Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Anybody seen this or tried one yet? I just saw this at NCIX, the aluminum billet look is pretty nice. I think I might have to order one  http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/cool.../ocz_xtc_cooler If you are looking for one of these I have found a few suppliers that may have them. If you PM me with the URL of anyone you know that stocks them I will add it to the list:rolleyes: Canada: www.NCIX.com U.S.: www.NCIX.com www.atacom.com UK: www.overclockers.co.uk Other:
WintersFury Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Definately looks great... I'll have to see if I can find one in the states, I'm going to want some memory cooling when I get a new board and start cranking the voltages. Elmer_Homero Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Would ram cooling be necesary with DDR2? I keep reading about new watercoolers for RAM being released and I was wondering if RAM is as HOT today than how it was before. At least air cooling is always useful /Edit: Where is my signature??? DFI nF4 SLI-DR (OCZTony's 0406bta) Opteron 175 @ 2.7 ghz (11 x 246) 1.5v 2 gb OCZ Platinum EL 2 3 2 5 @ 166 mhz divider eVGA 7950GX2 (600/1450 mhz) + Dell 2407WFP 24” WS LCD 4 x Hitachi 80 gb SATA2 @ RAID-0 (32/4 kb) FSP Group Epsilon 700w (primary PSU) DangerDen TDX & DD-GX2 waterblocks + Laing D5 water pump BlackIce Xtreme II + 2 x Panaflo 120mm Ultra High Speed Coolmax 400w (secondary PSU) Coolermaster Stacker STC-T01 + XFlow Fan

lackobreath Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Whatever happened to good ol' fashion ghetto-rigging? Break out the rubber bands, twist ties, and extra fans!
t_ski Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I saw this shortly before it was released I want one myself, but haven't seen them for sael yet. If I had a matched pair of 50, 60, or 70mm fans I'd build one myself. Could really use it too, since I'm on water and don't have much airflow around the ram
p0tter Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 if its under $20 id get one.
panheimer Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 when abit put something like that on its fatality motherboard nobody noticed it and who got it just threw it away. Now that corsair and ocz produces them, everibody seems to love them... When this summer i've assembled my rig i've encountered a lot of problems with ram's temperatures, so i've managed to build something like that whit a pair of 40 mm fan and a simple staff attached to the case. well, memory temperatures dropped down by 15° C.!! taowulf Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Looks nice, but wouldn't fit my board. But I still want it because it is shiny.
