fps_shawn Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 hey, just my dd tdx and maze4gpu and mcp655. I tried turning it to 281x10 was working, no prime or anything yet, went to play some CSS and then after a bit it froze and turned CSS off saying it had to shutdown... OR the computer just shutdown and restarted. Why is this? my current vcore is about 1.38v-1.39v should i boost it up? I want to keep it under 1.50 for a 3ghz oc. frozndevl Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 As an update, prime stable on mine. 285x10 @ 1.35*110%. I'd bump it higher but 54C under prime load is as high as I'll let it go. I think I could hit 2.9 if I could cool it better. Also I could hit 2.7 on stock volts. Wow, guess my Abit board clocked it well.. Anyway, yeah, up your volts. Evil-Vincent Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Is this the stepping of a 3800 Toledo? If so, I'm running it @ 2.8 ghz with a zalman 9500 cooler. I got 3010 mhz stable at 1.55 vcore with a open case, will get watercooling in about a year and then clock even more
