Fed up with Newegg RAM classification!

I am tired of looking for RAM, only to search through all three categories to find the module I'm looking for. I have written a complaint to Newegg. If you agree, feel free to copy my e-mail below and send it with your name to Newegg's customer support.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing you to voice a complaint about your new system memory “classes” (Branded Upgrade Memory, Gaming System Memory, and Standard System Memory). The addition of this new classification in itself isn’t a bad idea, but the implementation of it is rather poor in my opinion. Perhaps having the memory “class” put in along with all of the other categories in your original setup would be a better solution. It is very inconvenient to choose one class, search for a desired module, only to find that it isn’t in that class.

Sincerely,

Name Here

MAJOR PAIN! also sent here. (if the EBs just got lost in the change, might have cost them a sale too, as I just ordered them from clubIT)

If they don't add back the default search function, don't count on anything changing soon. If you notice they have "special" manufacturer placement in the "(Branded System Upgrade Memory)" category.

It looks like they're getting a bit of marketing going inside their memory category.

They don't include OCZ in their "Server" category even though that's all I use on servers that don't require ECC RAM.

It's all about the bucks guys and there are more idiots that will buy "gaming" RAM than will take the time to learn what they really need.
