tasr Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 …and thats at 1.775 volts Sweat. Go for a Toaster. I’d like to see it. 4 LEDs on = Power applied, checking CPU 3 LEDs on = CPU has been detected OK, checking RAM 2 LEDs on = RAM has been detected OK, checking VGA 1 LED on = VGA has been detected OK, entering BIOS 0 LEDs on = System has booted to the Operating System Yep VGA Try second PCI-E slot or use different video card to clear CMOS load defaults in BIOS. tasr Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Hummm Different video or did you moved it? Try different stick of memory in same slot. Maybe longer clear is needed.
honkee Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 when it gets stuck at the one led, i can hear one long beep followed by two mini ones
tasr Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I think it is still video related. Use different video card to clear CMOS and then load defaults in BIOS. Even a PCI card if you can. EDIT POST Beep There are two kinds of beep codes in the BIOS. One code indicates that a video error has occured and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information. This beep code consists of a single long beep followed by three short beeps. The other code indicates that a DRAM error has occured. This beep code consists of a single long beep. I don't have time to help you now though, unfortunately (I am at work)

tasr Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I know this can be frustrating, but the Expert isn’t your typical beast. I would try using a different video card. Along with long CMOS clear like this. Follow it exactly.

tasr Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Well did you try a different CPU? Still hang on a bit. Wait for some more replies. I have got to go, back later. Did you ever get it to fully boot? RMA is still an option.
