I mean if my CPU's wall is 2,8 Ghz? 12x250 ant gonna cut it You wont find anyone with a grate OC useing a x12 try a x11, x10 and or a x9 with higher htt here your home work. Praz Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Rock stable around here means successful completion of the requirements for an OCDB entry. Screenshots of CPU-Z don't mean much.
Guest Boogeyman Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 So I'm telling a falsehood? Umm... Don't know what OCDB entry is but I might check it out. Edit: Not finding guidelines on minimum requirements. If it's just some 3Dmark scores, no problemo.

Praz Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 So I'm telling a falsehood? Not saying that. Everybody's idea of a stable system is different. People talk about having 3.0 stability all the time or have it in their sigs. But in the OCDB there is less then 35 entries that demonstrate it. Spacehead Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 I am much closer in reaching 3 Ghz.... 2937 OCDB Stable... 2950Mhz Prime95 8h stable and more... Now I have this rig running at 11x273. Mem set to 200 Mhz (CPU/15) Vcore 1.585V Passes OCCT, S&M and 3DMark2001, but Prime fails after 15 to 50 minutes. S&M seems to strain CPU most, it heats CPU best... Prime95 takes only light load on CPU when compared to S&M. Don't have any ideas why prime is failing. CPU temps are 45 degrees celcius under load. I have posted to WinXP @ 3,112 Ghz with 1.47V Someone could say that it is my powersupply, but still , what I could check if it would help? ust Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Hi thanks for reply Lowering my Multi, means that I've gotta higher my RAM's mhz, to something like 275, and that's only if i use a Multi of 11X. But how far will RAM go, before taking damage? And would'nt I be "forced" to higher my Vdimm even more? Currently I'm already at 2.71V

smolt Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 then drop the divider down too. or losing up the timings. only voltage will damage your ram. your TccD loves 2.8. Any thing over 2.9 is not a good thing for 24/7. My TccD run good to 280 At 2.5-4-3-
