UncleDavid218 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 The XTC is nice, my friend has it and I would recommend it. My platinum is also very good. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.
vitamincat Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 is that rank like OCZ EB Platinum PC4000 > OCZ EL Gold GX XTC PC4000 > OCZ EL Platinum PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 ?
dab Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 any other 4000 would come before the 3200, but yea, the plats are better than the gold.. My XTC does about 261 or so before it gets sketchy with spd timings and low volts.

DrunkenMafia Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Hi all Pretty sure this is my first post. I think.. Its good to see dfi street back. It is probably the best forum sight I have seen. Just some info for vitamincat, I just did a heap of research on these two kits and I would definitely reccommend the PC4000 kit if you are overclocking. I ended up going with the XTC 3200 2gb kit as I got it really cheap off some lad on ebay. The kit I have is great but it does not oc that much. I can get about 235Mhz @ 3,4,4,8 stable. I believe the PC4000 will oc to around 265MHZ stable @ 3,4,4,8. So either way, oc'in or not I would definitely grab the PC4000. You might even be able to get them down to 2,2,25 @ 200Mhz. Good on ya
