The.Student Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Consider this......Sapphire are ATi's main retailer / outlet.. they always sell the most ATi products and have great support..... They are highest ranking ATi partner, and not just for sales but for quality of product.. need I say more
rightwingtroll Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I've used Sapphire cards in many builds for people and have never had problems. I haven't used a high-end card from them however. As a brand, if I was buying ATI, I would get one of their cards however.
FlyingWV Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I went with the Sapphire 1900XT myself. Sorry about that, might of taken the one you were going to buy lol. Anyways, while I was researching it I came across a little tidbit. I might be wrong on this, but I read that Sapphire was ATI's OEM. So it would seem it'd be as good of quality as the ATI brand, just repackaged. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The.Student Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Nice quote for you: Dave Orton, CEO ATI "Sapphire is ATI's largest and best performing partner World Wide"
soundx98 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Yes Sapphire does make the ATI cards. Powercolor is no slouch at this either. They make great cards and I would consider them as high quality as Sapphire/ATI. Good Overclockers as well.
