FrontX... what did yours come with?

Recommended Posts

I was going to install my FrontX the other day for USB ports and realized it doesn't even HAVE USB ports.

Did I get jipped? They say 'cusomizable', but there isn't even enough equipment to fill it up! I know I didn't lose anything because I haven't opened the box until today.

And I covered the USBs on the top of my case with my watercooling, and I have none on the front, and my keyboard/monitor is USB 1.1. So flashdrives and whatnot are a pain.

Input please.

so i wont

but ill admit, front usb is reeeeealy needy right now. oh well.

Buy a new case that supports front USB rather than using that ugly Front X drivebay panel thingy.

i think ill get a hub/extension but whoever said "buy a new case" i dont see why you are compelled to leave negative information. i have a TSUNAMI i think ill keep it thanks. im not looking for some raidmax with a million pieces of junk taped to it.

I wasnt trying to be negative. My sincere apologies if I came across that way. The recommendation for a new case was based on the fact that most 'higher end' cases support front USB connectors, nothing else. i used to own a Thermaltake and find them to be close to top of the line cases. The Tsunami case is indeed very beautiful and very functional - except, unfortunately, in your case since you are not able to use the USB connectors due to your H2O cooling.

The only negative thing I said was about the Front X Panel, which I, personally, find not very aesthetic. If you do, I completely respect your opinion.

Like caveman4810's, my recommendation for a busbay drive was, I believe, rather constructive, as you have a busbay device now, except that it doesn't have USB conectors.

Again, sorry if I came across negative. That was def not my intention! :)
