Guest DjDaLiu Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I have a little problem, i pass memtest86 and superpi but i get error in prime95 blend torture test. What should i do? In windows is perfectly stable, only in prime95 blend test i get error after 5 min or 4-5 hours, if i make prime95 SMALL FFT test everything is ok, only BLEND test is the problem. This are my settings:
EdLSmith Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Small ffts' test the CPU and large ffts' test Memory. Blend does both. Have you run memtest for several hours at 300 error free? or did you test only at 200?
Guest DjDaLiu Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 i run memtest for several hours at 290 and everything is ok.

Guest DjDaLiu Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 voltage on the cpu is to low if youre failing prime I failed in PRIME95 only memory test, if i do SMALL FFT what is a cpu test everythings goes well. Do u still think is cpu voltage the problem?
EdLSmith Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 That is possibility.
Guest laydback Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Have you tried OCCT?
Guest DjDaLiu Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 YES, is stable in memtest and i pass 32 mb super pi. My overclock is 2900 290 x 10 1:1 1,55 CPU, 2,7 Mem. I failed only prime95 BLEND test, if i make SMALL FFT i pass over 6 hour.
Raphie Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 i suspect Vcore as well
Guest Flip Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Could be memory Controller. Adding voltage to CPU could help. It's worth a try
wevsspot Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 When running Prime95 Torture Test Blended, instead of using default setting for memory usage (which I belive is about 986mb) use a custom value of 750mb or so. This will prevent Prime from ulitizing almost 100% of your physical memory during the Torture test. As others have suggested you might also bump your vcore a bit. Maybe 1.54-1.56 to improve stability. But for sure follow my first recommendation.
Guest DjDaLiu Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 OK! Im gonna try to rise a little more de vcore. In all aplication i dont have any problems, in games are perfectly stable.
