Reinvented Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 Of course it will work. The only difference is the XP-90 is aluminum, while the XP-90c is made of all copper. Same exact sink, just made of different materials.
BlackDragon24 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 xp-90c does not fall into recommended hsf category because it is so heavy and is clip-on.... get an xp-90 or an si-120 they both cool very well and are light.

uNTaMeD-4o8 Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 waht would be better? THERMALRIGHT xp-120 si-120 si-97a xp-90c xp-90 ??? allfound on these pages http://www.xoxide.com/xoxide/amdcpucooler.html http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/soccpucool.html <---cheaper
oliveryochest Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 the best bang for the buck would be the xp90. It is only couple of degrees shy of the xp90c and xp120. so, to me, the xp90 would be the best because of price and the ability to cool well, if not better than the rest. tjj Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 I'd go for XP-90C, it's not that heavy, just as it should be done.. Sits perfectly on an Ultra-D.. From the list above it has the best cooling capabilities.. (very close to XP-120) Get a PAPST fan with it and enjoy..
Guest Gir Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 get an xp-90 from www.svc.com for $27 , you just cannot beat the cooling for the price and it's only a few deg. shy of the xp-90c

Squid1 Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 xp-90c does not fall into recommended hsf category because it is so heavy and is clip-on.... But the mounting is the same as for the XP-90.
