andrusk Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 there all on the streets cause they had to shut down the office buildings and let everyone off work. So i would guess theyre all just walking home.
Rev. Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 there all on the streets cause they had to shut down the office buildings and let everyone off work. So i would guess theyre all just walking home. Well, Some have a trek just to get to thier cars (No subways or train services) then they may live 50 or more mines away from the city itself. andrusk Posted August 14, 2003 Posted August 14, 2003 well when i said walking home i figured it was all inclusive of walking to apartment buildings or walking to their cars but i guess i should have clarified more.

DevilMB3017 Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Well, in my town, most if power is out. Hell, in most of the county and even state. I live near a hospital so they have a special quickness during power-outages and snow storms. It's pretty cool to live here I guess. However, I was on the roads and there was a fire here in NJ, dont know if its related... and a lot of street lights were out and there were a few accdients, but nothing major yet. The scary thing is that there was no bad weather reported where this was supposed to start...maybe a coverup of some sort is going on here? AMDOCuser Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 I live in Kalamazoo MI, and I'm originally from Detroit area (moved here for school). And now at this moment I'm really glad I'm living here. We felt a little of the black out at work. Power went out for about three seconds and was back on and nothing has happen since then. We must be on Chicagos grid. But I've been calling friends back home and been messing with them saying stuff like, "well I was getting bord watching TV, and was wondering if you wanted to play some games online." HEHEEHE. I feel so evil for rubbing it in. But it is the one time I'm glad I'm not living back at home.
