red930 Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Whenever you replace anything in the DFI NF4 MAKE ABSOLUTERLY SURE that the PSU is unplugged from wall/switch on PSU is off and DRAM light and STANDBY light are off before removing or inserting the new component. Also turn off any appliances that hook into your motherboard( USB Printers,Speakers,Monitors). Somehow the times i forget it seems to hose my windows install. GoodOmens Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Well recieved the rma board today (finally lol). Everything is running smoothly now ... booted right up after enabling raid in bios. One thing I did like is they returned it with 6/23 bios already loaded (I had shipped it with 5/10). Now back to Overclocking ... going to have a busy night :-)

SloppyG Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Also turn off any appliances that hook into your motherboard( USB Printers,Speakers,Monitors). Somehow the times i forget it seems to hose my windows install. you should also unplug your refrigerator and toaster as they are uneccessary drains on energy... unless you've got beer to keep cold or are cooking up some eggos...
