Guest Tmod Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I am testing out the feasibilty of updating my CD using a patch program and that way nobody has to re-download the entire iso again when we only need a addition of one or two bios's. The patch I have created at the moment includes flashing from the hard drive in each bios screen and also I have included NTFS for DOS. I need a couple people that will try it and report back as to the results of patching the current version that is available from the download links in the first post. If anyone is interested in trying out the patch and flashing OCZ Tony's 623-2bta then let me know and I will send the link your way. This patching idea is new as it allows me to update the utility without creating a whole new large download that you need to download again. Any takers? soundx98 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 well the patch said it worked and it shows the 6/23 bta. good to go here bro. nice work. used the CD link that was up at 6PM 9/29 and patch link you sent me which I downloaded at 6:15PM I guess it would really depend on how many bioses/size of latest CD download as far as time saved/ease of use. but it sure worked for me.
