Crow, as someone who works in the business as a factory authorized repair/refubish/warranty company in the electronics industry, I highly recommend that you avoid house brands or off brands. I'll use Coby as an example. Great effort on their part to be a viable business and their quality wasn't that bad either. But they went bankrupt and left their creditors and their customers "holding the bag".
Pick a name brand (lowest I'd go is Vizio). Even if you have to settle for a smaller television or even a plasma instead of LCD or LED. In the long run you'll be much happier. In my experience design, manufacturing quality, PQ here is how I'd rate the major players;
1. Pioneer and/or Panasonic tied for first place
2. Samsung
3. LG
4. Sony
5. Sharp
6. Toshiba
6. Vizio
This list is based on being inside every one of those brands through the years, considering design, engineering, part sourcing consistency, build quality, quality of components etc.
I've got a couple LGs now (one 60" Plasma and a 42" LED) and they have been very good sets. Considering the prices I paid they were bargains.
I agree with wevsspot's list except for the Vizio. I liked the picture quality but it took forever to change channels.

What board did you buy, or better yet post a pic of it and maybe a member will have something that will work.

Please bare with me, I will have a house full of my kids friends who don't have much of a home life. They are staying with us to be somewhere safe over Christmas and to be part of a family. Aside from that my SSD died last night so I have been busy rebuilding my rig. I will update the thread the best I can for you guys tonight but keep in mind it maybe late.
I guess that means scratch the

This is a great contest, I won a prize last year so I'm not going to enter this year.
Good luck to everyone.

I just bought a Samsung T139 for $30 at Target. It seems to work just fine for a basic phone.

I just bought a Blu Tank T190i. It's cheep, rugged, wiil accept a 8GB micro SD, but I can't get it to let me add new names and numbers. To add new contacts to the sim I had to put the sim in another phone, add the contacts, then transfer the sim back

I have the same ASUS but an earlier ver.
Model DRW-24B1STand it works great. Three years and no problems.

I agree with wevsspot. I've bought new and refurbished and both were equal in quality. The only thing better with new is the warranty which is what you pay for. That being said I'm a little gun shy concerning SSDs, but if the reviews are good take a chance and keep all the receipts and packaging.

I notice my office suite aps. open much faster.

And it's quiet.

The best part of a SSD is you won't grow mold waiting for windows to start.
-
I followed what it said here and I had no problems. I have the 120GB and windows7 experience score went up to 7.9

If your SSD is broken I would upgrade that first and watch for a deal on the other two.
