[How To Successfully Build A Computer]

What is the purpose of clearing the cmos on a new build, and is it necessary.

I'm ready to start my first build but before I open all the boxes and make refunds difficult I would like to ask the other members if they see any conflicts, because after all the reading and searching I'm almost brain dead.

I'm not looking for the fastest system or the coolest just something I won't have to upgrade soon. I'm semi-retired and just wanted to build my own computer and have it stable so I can brag to the other old geezers.
