Bosco,
I'm old and I fall asleep in the middle of movies and conversations. Did I miss something?

Could it be some people didn't have the knowledge to help you with your problem and kept checking back to learn something?

Good luck with the new setup. Don't forget to change your system info.

Merry Christmas to all.

Welcome,
I don't have a lot of experience overclocking but your cpu looks ok but if the mob is an Emachine I have doubts. The BIOS's on OEM motherboards are pretty limited. They are limited because if overclocking was enabled in the BIOS they would have lots of warranty claims because someone put their voltage to the max possible etc.

Well my wife is a Cajun Chef and I just bought a new Wet/Dry Vac.

Hey Bosco, can I sleep on your couch for the next four years?

Find the products you are considering then check out various sites for the customer reviews and read both the good and the bad for problems and customer service responses.
Sometimes the brands change manufactures in the middle of a product run, for better or worse. It is always important to buy from a company with the best customer service and if possible free return shipping. Also, some products start out with bad reviews, but become great products after a software upgrade.
Good Hunting.

I agree with Fight Game. Prices on SSD's have gotten much better in the last few years. You can get a 480GB with better performance for the old price of a 120GB .

Here is a link for the manual. If the trouble shooting section doesn't fix the problem contact the the seller or manufacturer.

Here is a great guide for your first build. I used it and I had no problems.

The transportation system is a mixture of time, cargo space, route structure and human error. Many times the quickest way is not the shortest way. The question of space available on a flight or truck, connecting with the next vehicle on the next leg of the trip, or the leg after that may come into play.
I order the same product from the same company every month or so and I have had it shipped from Georgia, New York, Texas, Washington, Arizona, and California where I live. Some times it takes as little as two days and some times it takes two weeks.Sometimes people just screw up. -

I just want to remain the oldest until the Windows 2099 upgrade.

I'm a 68 year old geezer and I upgraded from 7 to 10 over a month ago. It took a while to get it running the way I wanted it to then it started to act goofy. It would freeze, shut down, and not start. I spent days trouble shooting until I went to ASUS's motherboard site and found out my MB isn't certified to run Windows 10 even if Microsoft said it would. I then applied a fix I found online. I did a clean install of Windows 7 and after a few hundred updates and blocking any updates that had anything with the number 10 in it I got my old computer back but running faster because of the clean install. My next Microsoft update will be Windows 2099.
