    Nope not running any other software except the basic nvidia stuff and the cards been at stock clocks. It seems fine now so I'll just run with it and if it nukes itself then I'll worry about sending it back again. I don't believe its the psu because I just built a new rig and reused the psu and everything still works fine with everything under load.

    Hey guys well as I speak my monitor has little green artifacts going all over it. i was running f@h while surfin the web and all of the sudden these little green lines appeared everywhere. My gpu is runnin stock clocks and is idling at 26 degrees C. Any advice on what just went wrong or should I give xfx's lifetime warranty a shot? Oh yea and I restarted it and it didn't help anything

    That's definitely a serious revolver, but I'll stick with the .22/.22mag. I'd have to go to a range to shoot a centerfire gun more than a couple of times to keep peace with the neighbors. I can practice any time I want with the .22. I just load up with Colibris (375 fps), walk out on the porch or in the driveway and start shooting. :biggrin: If I want power I just put in the mag cylinder and load up with the 34 grain 2200 fps stuff. ;)

     

    In fact...I think I'm feeling the urge coming on right now...BRB

    Haha thats the nice thing with having a 100 acres. I don't know who but somebody along the mountain must have a lot of toys because I hear all sorts of automatic fire. 22.mag aint bad at all i have that in my marlin rifle makes a nice varmint gun.

    when they want to plug large items into the close usb ports and just shove them in........... and working on somoenes laptop or desktop and they think I just clicked a button when I did a complete fresh install along with moving all their information over..........

    Help with wireless keyboard and mouse

    Hey guys, Well I finally cleaned out of the bedrooms in my house (it was filled with soooo much crap) but anyway its basically my room now. We bought a new 65' 3dtv for way cheap a couple weeks ago and so now I have the old 65' in my room and accordingly my main rig with the good graphics. My problem now is in finding a good keyboard and mouse. I've been using a kensington wireless set but I don't really like it that much. The only nice thing about it is its range. I can be 20ft away and the keyboard and mice will still work. Anyway, I basically need a nice keyboard and mouse setup that is wireless that I can use from over 10ft away. I would love to get a backlit keyboard since I sometimes game at night but I understand that without it being wired that probably isn't going to happen. But don't seem to finding to many decent keyboards with range and the fact that they don't tell me exactly how far away they work I'm worried im gonna get some POS that goes like a foot. Any help appreciated and personal experience with keyboards/mice that would work in this situation is even better. I do like having media keys and a number pad.

    I know that the forums used to be mobile compatible. Very Sparse looking which was great. Could load up the forum nice and quick even if I had EDGE service on my phone. Though I don't believe that option is there anymore.

    It would be great if there was a streamlined main page too !

    Rolling waves on screen

    Hey guys, well I bought a gt240 when they went on sale at newegg for 35 bucks and after installing it seems to function fine. Been completing its f@h workunits and played some games well. However I've noticed that depending on the color it seems to have these horizontal waves that move downward. Like for example on occ i see this rolling movement. I am using a vga cable until I can get a dvi but I'm wondering whats up. Any help appreciated.

     

    Edit: it seems to occur while f@h is running. Making me wonder if the card is starving for juice though my 4670 did not do this when i had it and it also was folding

    Yeah I could see how those knobs on the top would be a problem. I mean depending on how high they sit you could just lift the fan up some. Though I see your running your proc overclocked so i don't know how thats going to affect temps. Your probably going to end up moving things around and trying to find the best setup for ya since it could very quite a bit on your case setup and airflow setup. Yeah your right there really isn't a real ideal solution. Then again you could just trim the knobs off the ripjaws :whistling:
