Toms Hardware guide predicts the end of the P4s but theres more, the article says that a P-M OCed bit and with a skt 478 adaptor could over power both the AMD FX-55 and the Intel 3.73 EE while running cooler and using less power.

yeah, IMO it would be worth if youre a gamer becasue it beat the other procs in games, but for anything else go with a P4 or AMD64

 

EDIT: i frogot that you need a specific mobo and the skt adaptor making almost not worth it ...

i submitted an article about the end of p4 a few months go, but SOMEBODY rejected it.

One of the reasons why the pentium 4s are pretty much dead is that they require the replay function to work properly. It only makes them less efficient.
