I'm assuming that you mean the reservoir? Looks like a basic vertical reservoir. IE, http://www.performance-pcs.com/reservoirs/phobya-balancer-150mm-black-nickel.html But in terms of mounting your reservoir outside the case, you'll be force to pick a case that has outlets for tubes, or you'll have to drill your own. Also, in terms of mounting options you'll have to make your own if you want it to be attached to your case. potatochobit Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 thanx for the reply I just bought an antec P280 on clearance to replace my old P182 I just saw this baby canister reservoir looks amusing maybe I will put it inside the case
wevsspot Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Highly recommend inside the case. I've had reservoirs internal, bay and external. I much prefer the internal or bay reservoirs over anything mounted externally. Much less hassle IMHO.
Waco Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Bay reservoirs can suck to route hoses neatly, but internal is definitely the way to go!
ccokeman Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Bay reservoirs can suck to route hoses neatly, but internal is definitely the way to go! I like a good bay res but a tube res inside the case is pretty cool. unfortunately I could not fit it inside on my last build! potatochobit Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 yeah, I have the exact same case in the picture and a regular size one wont fit but that mini looks ok how did he mount the mini canister to the bottom? drilled a hole with bolts or just glue? ccokeman Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Thats a pump res combo from EK I think. It should bolt down to the bottom.
Boinker Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Like Waco was saying. Bay reservoirs are a pain unless they are a pump res.
BluePanda Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Like Waco was saying. Bay reservoirs are a pain unless they are a pump res. +1 I did away with custom loops -- but that inside the case is quite a bit smexy.
wevsspot Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Four or five years back I went bay reservoir with integrated pump. My last two were the XSPC D5 dual bay. Still using the same D5 I bought when I built my first loop though. Hard to beat the convenience if you have a couple spare 5.25" bays. Servicing them can be kind of a pain but I learned to leave enough slack in the hoses to pull the reservoir out far enough to disconnect the hoses from the outside of the case.
