bp9801 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I always recommend getting some filters from a local hardware store and cutting them down to size to fit. Like filters for a window air conditioner, those would work out fine.
PruritusAni Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Definitely purchase AC filter and cut it to size. It's cheap and it works great. I got this at some point last year and it's worked quite well.

Boinker Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 That or Frozencpu.com. The a/c filter trick works great. Have used it before and they last a good while.
Munkypoo7 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 If you don't mind some restricted airflow... speaker cloth works great too actually. Had to get ghetto on my FT01 filters, and the speaker cloth is a good alternative, bit more restrictive in airflow, but it catches everything. No temp increase, so Munky is a happy camper
jk336699 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 i think i would buy some ac filter and stick magnets on them so they can easily stick on the case and remove if needed clean...

I am interested in doing this myself in a Haf 922. How did you guys go about installing them? Just cut to size and stick between the fan and case? jk336699 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) I found these magnets tape to tape on the AC filter and the magnet would hold the filter just fine You can also tape them on cathode lights or anything I did them on UV lights Edited March 1, 2011 by jk336699
